Okay… so, I’ve been slacking lately. We’ve been so busy that I have’nt had time to keep up with the online remodeling journal. I know I’m missing a couple of steps in between, like Jeni and Judy working with the rolls of insulation batting. But, I’m at least putting up the work we did this past weekend. (I’ll see about getting up the rest later this week… PROMISE!)

For a while, I was busy working on some freelancing, so I had been unadble to really help out in the attic. So… Judy recruited her daughter, Jeni, to help out in my absence. They ROCKED!!

I can’t believe the amount of work they got done. Between the two of them, they finished off all of the rolls of batting in the rafters. They put in a LOT of hard, hot, messy hours to get it all done. (more info below…)

Even though I don’t have new photos (we really DO need to get a digital camera!), I had to make a new entry into the ‘Remodel’ page. Through a lot of hard work, and much frustration, this weekend, Judy and I finished cutting and installing the rafter extensions.

Yes, I know. I promised to talk about last weekend’s adventures with my sister Amy’s visit and attic work. Don’t worry.. I’ll add that in tomorrow. But, this topic cannot wait…
