Proud as Heck!
I just had to make a little entry about something very, very cool… my step-daughter Jeni! 
Judy and I just found out this past weekend that Jeni will be graduating from high school WITH HONORS!
After a year of hard work, Jeni has pulled her grade point average up to a 3.5! And, next Thursday, June 3, she’ll be walking up to the stage wearing her honors cord.
I can’t tell you jus thow PROUD we are of her!! She’s really worked hard this year and has come a long way. I know she thinks we expect a lot (too much) out of her. And, I know that sometimes scares her. We’ve all been there. It’s a scarey place to be… senior year, high school, not sure of what you’re going to do or who you’re going to be. We’ve all been through it. It does get better. And… we’ve seen where she’s been and where she is now and how she got there.
She may not know it yet, but she’s definitely MORE than capable. She’s got a good heart, a sharp mind and, when she wants, an incredible drive that will get her through the tough times. She just needs to find it. (You remember that part… we ALL have to find out what we can do. Unfortunately, nobody else can tell us that.)
So… I just really wanted to say KUDOS, to Jen!! We’re damn proud of you, girl!!
